A downloadable game for Windows

The hero has defeated the beast! Now it's up to you, the game's janitor, to reset the game so that the next hero can start their journey.

Lowly janitor, behind the scenes of a metroid-like game. Now that the player is gone, you can use all the power-ups for yourself! You must, however, put all 4 back in the right order so you can get to the exit and start your work break.

** Choose carefully the order that you lose your power-ups! **
** Be your own hero! **
** Let the actors know that it's time for coffee! **

I never think do a game on this way... think out of the box So awesome

Thanks! :D

only getting a black screen. (can hear movement/item pickup , so I'm assuming it's only a graphical issue)

That was happening with a mac build (which I have since taken down because we couldn't debug it). Are you experiencing that on Windows? If so, which version (10?7?) do you have a discrete graphics card?

both on my win 7 home-pc (nvidia card) and win 10 work-pc (built-in video).

One of the main directories is empty ... could be the cause.

You should see the following structure (as I do on my machine when I unzip everything):

LD43_Data
--> a couple directories and a bunch of files
Mono
--> two directories
LD43.exe (run this one)
UnityCrashHandler64.exe
UnityPlayer.dll

Which directory was empty for you? Are you using the itch.io launcher, or just unzipping manually?
(Thank you for helping debug this!)

Manual unzipping gives:

AfterHours
--> empty

LD43_Data
--> a couple directories and a bunch of files
Mono
--> two directories
LD43.exe (run this one)
UnityCrashHandler64.exe
UnityPlayer.dll

It's strange that you have an Empty AfterHours folder. Can you try running the game through the itch app?

Same Hat! (Your game seems to have a lot of polish though, unlike mine which has none)

Also the game settings have a field for an LD link that shows up in the more information box.

And while I'm at it, a Linux build would be nice :)

Ah, thanks! I have put that link in place now. :)
